At Tesla Motors Inc.'s first annual shareholders meeting since going public last July, Tesla CEO Elon Musk provided a vision of using the full capacity of the former New United Motor Manufacturing Inc. plant it acquired from Toyota. ItalDesign Giugiaro – owned by Volkswagen – has created a compact SUV crossover – the Italdesign Giugiaro Parcour Concept – based on Lamborghini underpinnings. The Giugiaro Parcour – named after the odd French habit of bouncing off buildings – has been developed as both a coupe and a roadster (you can see both in the pictures above) and uses the potent 542bhp 5.2 litre V10 from the Lamborghini Gallardo as well as a Lambo 4WD system to create what ItalDesign say is a blend of crossover, SUV, sports car and GT. All bases covered, then.
Mercedes-Benz tuner Brabus is going to work on the new SLK200 and SLK250 roadsters, adding some power, exterior modifications and suspension upgrades. The four-cylinder SLKs aren't for sale in the United States right now, but the SLK250 is scheduled to arrive by February 2012. Currently no kits are offered for the V6-powered SLK350.
